BIOSECURITY ACTIVITIES EXPANDED
The Government has announced that they are expanding the types of biosecurity activities that are subject to cost recovery under the Australia Government Cost Recovery Guidelines.
The result is an increase of the Quarantine Processing Charge levied on each Full Import Declaration as follows:
AIR – From $33 to $38
SEA – From $42 to $49
The new charges will apply from 1 January 2020.
